Second Day at Nationals

Bergen's Freshmen, Muhammad Ombali (110 Meter Hurdles) and Mateusz Wierzba (Triple Jump) are the standouts on day two of the 2017 NJCAA Track & Field Tournament.

Paramus, NJ- Men's Track & Field team competed in the 2017 NJCAA National Tournament.  On day two of competition, Bergen's team is currently in 13th place and look to move up on the final day of competition.   

Mateusz Wierzba finished in 5th place in the Triple Jump event with a distance of 13.52m.  Unfortunately, Wierzba did not place in the top 10 as expected in the Long Jump event.   He finished in 13th place with a distance of 5.95m.

Muhammad Ombali qualified in the preliminaries with a 6th place finish in the 110 Meter Hurdles race with a time of 16.51m.  Muhammad will compete again in the final day.

Bergen still have several student-athletes that can help the team score more points and move up the leaderboard.  Go Bulldogs!!!
