Historic Milestone: Bergen Women’s Soccer Advances to Region 19 Finals for the First Time in Program History
PARAMUS, N.J. (October 29, 2025) — The Bergen Community College women's soccer team has made history, advancing to the Region 19 Finals for the first time in the program's history. The Bulldogs' remarkable postseason run marks a milestone achievement for a team that has steadily built momentum and confidence throughout the 2025 season.
Led by head coach Anthony Bowles and assistant coach Atticus Tamman, Bergen showcased resilience and teamwork throughout the regional tournament, securing their spot in the championship match with a series of determined performances. The Bulldogs' advancement to the final caps a season defined by strong defensive play, disciplined execution, and a collective belief in their potential.

The Bulldogs' journey to the finals included victories over Atlantic Cape, Rowan College of South Jersey- Cumberland, and Union County Community College, highlighted by standout performances from Brianna Ramos, Kaia Warn and Natahly Gonzalez. With the win, Bergen cements its place among the top programs in the region and continues to raise the bar for future seasons.
Bergen will now face Rowan College of South Jersey- Gloucester in the Region 19 Championship match, with the winner advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30pm on Saturday November 1st at Ocean County College.
