Bergen Community College Wrestling Dominates Jamestown, Secures 39–12 Victory
PARAMUS, N.J. (Dec. 3, 2025) — The Bergen Community College men's wrestling team delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday night, rolling to a 39–12 victory over Jamestown Community College behind a series of dominant pins and decisive individual efforts.
Bergen opened the dual with force and never looked back. At 125 pounds, Daron DePriest set the tone by pinning Joseph Caraballo at the 6:40 mark, giving the Bulldogs early momentum. His effort was quickly matched at 133 pounds, where Jeremiah Wynn wasted no time securing a pin over Griffin Williams in just 1:47 to extend the lead.
At 157 pounds, Michael Gim continued Bergen's strong showing on the mat, earning a pin against Shayne Irvin at 4:27. The Bulldogs added to their advantage at 174 pounds with Luke Valenzuela picking up a forfeit victory, pushing the team total even higher.
Bergen's success carried into the upper weights. At 184 pounds, Ayden Patchin delivered a gritty 7–3 decision over Brad Smith, showcasing strong defense and late-match control. Kai Argyos added another forfeit win at 197 pounds, widening the gap heading into the final bout.
Closing out the match in emphatic fashion, 285-pound standout Diego Camargo powered his way to a pin over Joshua Kriger in 3:32, sealing Bergen's dominant 39–12 team victory.
