Paramus,NJ – The Bulldogs scored twice in the first half on the way to a 2-1 victory over Union College in NJCAA Region 19 men's soccer action. It marked the first win of the 2023 season opener for Bergen.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The first half saw limited Bergen dominate the early action scoring 2 goals in the first fifteen minutes.
- Both goales were unassisted, the first comming at 6:35 when Mateo Cruz knocked in a rebound for his first goa of the season. This was followed by Dylan Farina-Chamorro finding the back of the net for his first goal of the season at 15:35
- The Bulldogs would have to play the majority of the game man down when Tugay Bologluer was awared a red card for a hard foul at 18:47 in the first half
- The Owls would score their only goal on a pentaly kick in the second half.
