The Bulldogs kept the pressure high, and in the 78th minute, freshman midfielder Gabriel Tahiraj delivered the game-winner on a setup from Gianfranco Appezzato.
Defensively, Bergen held strong behind goalkeeper Allenzo Conner, who made three saves to secure the victory. The Bulldogs outshot Raritan Valley 17–15 and controlled the tempo with steady possession in the second half.
