Lincroft, N.J. – The Bergen Community College men's soccer team delivered a strong first-half performance to secure a 3–1 victory over Brookdale Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs struck quickly, netting all three of their goals in the opening half. Daniel Lin opened the scoring off an assist from Onur Can, followed shortly by a finish from Samuel Solis with support from Kevin Cedeno. Andre Lucas Santana added the third tally, assisted by Steven Carangui, giving Bergen a commanding 3–0 advantage at the break.
Brookdale managed to pull within one when Alessandro Principato converted on a feed from Wyatt Vicente, but the Bulldogs' defense held firm to close out the match.
Goalkeeper Johnathan Caceres anchored the back line, earning the win with four saves on five shots faced.
With the victory, Bergen continues to build momentum in Region XIX play, improving their standing in the conference race.
