Nationals Results
Paramus, NJ - Bergen's Track & Field team returned from the 2015 NJCAA Nationals this past weekend. The team had sent nine student-athletes to the tournament and were very successful.
Bergen's Garrett Pynn (Edgewater) and Gerard Londino (Moonachie), both received Coaches All-American Award at the 2015 NJCAA Track & Field National Tournament. Garrett received it after earning third place out of 18 competing in the shot put event. He threw the shot put a distance of 14.37m. Gerard received it after earning third place out of 17 competing in the javelin event. He threw the Javelin a distance of 49.48m.
The men's track & field team finished 13 out 18 at nationals in overall points as a team. They had good showings by DereK Joselen & Tim Bryant in both the 100m & 200m. Also, the 4X100 team of Derek Joselen, Jaco Angu, Anthony Shields and Isaiah Arnett finished 10th out of 27, with a time of 3:40.05.
