All-Region Honors
Liana Martinez earned First Team All-Region XIX as a guard.
Paramus, NJ - Women's basketball team received wonderful region news regarding the point guard Liana Martinez. Liana received the 4th most votes in the all-region voting this past week, which earned her First Team All-Region XIX as a guard. She will be nominated to the NJCAA All-American voting for her being in the top 5 all-region. Her individual season stats landed her 31st in the nation in Points Per Game (17.5). Liana was also 30th in the nation in Points with 421. Teams in the region tried there best not to foul her, because of her free throw skills, which she was 16th in the nation with a 75.7% (81 out of 107).
Liana also excelled in the classroom by having an overall 3.0 +GPA. Her success on and off the court has also earned her BCC Female Student-Athletes of the Month for Februrary 2019.
