Paramus, NJ, The Bergen Bulldogs won their first game of the year this past Saturday, by the score of 6-3. Bergen was down 1-0 early in the match to BMCC, but came back with an abundance of goals to win the game.
Bergen scoring was led by Bergen's former two time Region XIX Cross Country Champion, Justine Conca, who scored two goals on the day. She was followed by Hadassah Haricha with a great day on the kit by scoring a hat trick. The three goals she scored were assisted by second year player Amy Franklin. Freshman, Kathy Villanueva, added to the scoring by scoring on a penalty kick. The defense also had a big day by holding a lead versus a very strong offense.
The Bulldogs will now host region opponent, Middlesex CC, on Tuesday, October 2 at 4:00pm. Go Bulldogs!!!
