Paramus, N.J. — The Bergen Community College women's soccer team secured its spot in the Region 19 District A Championship final with a commanding 7–0 win over Atlantic Cape Community College on Tuesday afternoon at the Bergen Soccer Field. With the victory, the Bulldogs advance to face RCSJ–Gloucester in the District A final on Saturday, November 1.
Bergen (5-3-1, 3-2-1) set the tone early and never looked back. Brianna Ramos opened the scoring just 19 seconds into the match, followed by Kaia Warn's goal off a Ramos assist in the ninth minute. Vivian O'Loughlin added another before halftime to give the Bulldogs a 3–0 lead at the break.
In the second half, Bergen continued its offensive surge with goals from Anastasia Heiden, O'Loughlin (her second of the day), Caelyn Freeman, and Kimberly Guaman to seal the dominant win. The Bulldogs outshot Atlantic Cape 39–1and controlled possession throughout the match
Goalkeeper Ashly Urquia earned her fifth shutout of the season, stopping the only shot on goal she faced in 90 minutes of action.
The win marks a historic moment for Bergen Women's Soccer, as the team advances to the Region 19 District A Final for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs will look to capture the District title on Saturday against top-ranked RCSJ–Gloucester and secure a trip to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.
