WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD RESULTS FOR 4/16/16
Women's Track & Field team qualifies five for nationals at the Fitchburg State University Eric Loeschner Memorial Track & Field Invitational in Massachusetts.
Paramus, NJ- Women's Track & Field had a very successful weekend at the Fitchburg State University Eric Loeschner Memorial Track & Field Invitational in Massachusetts.
The team was led by sophomore thrower, Alexi Raffa (Northvale, NJ), who qualified for nationals for a second time. She qualified after throwing a shot put a distance of 9.45m.
Katiana Mendoza (Hackensack, NJ), Kelli Galati (Rutherford, NJ), Melissa Duran (Hackensack, NJ),, Amanda Duran (Hackensack, NJ), have earned their first trip to nationals. They qualified in the 4x800 with a time of 12:17.53.
Camille Calupad (Paramus, NJ) had already qualified for nationals earlier in the year in the Pole Vault event. She continued her success in the Pole Vault after finishing 4th out of 11 in at Fitchburg State University. She is also trying to qualify for Javelin.
The whole women's team has now qualfied for nationals. It's has not been done since the early 1990's. Go Bulldogs!!!
