TCNJ Meet Results
Bergen Women's Track & Field competed at the TCNJ Invitational on April 8th. Justin Conca (800M) & Katherine Helewa (Shot Put) qualify for nationals.
Paramus, NJ - Bergen Bulldogs traveled to TCNJ on Saturday, on April 8th for their third meet of the year. Justine Conca (Nutley, NJ), who had already qualified for the nationals last week in the 1500m and 10,000m races. This week she qualified in the 800 Meter race with a time of 2:39.88 and finishing 35 out of 82. Freshman, Katherine Helewa (Cresskill, NJ), also qualified for nationals in Shot Put event, with a throw of 10.10m finishing 13 out 48. Katherine also threw the discus well as she finished 16 out 44 with a throw of 25.74m.
Other notables are:
Camille Calupad (Paramus, NJ), who qualified for nationals in the Pole Vault event in her first meet, continues to impress as she finished 6th out 12 in Pole Vault at TCNJ. Camille also finished 17th out of 23 in the Javelin with a throw of 18.63m.
Bergen still has a few ladies close to qualifying and look to achieve that in the next few meets. Bergen will travel to The Osprey Invitational on April 14th and 15th at Stockton University. Go Bulldogs
