Bergen Volleyball Sweeps Montgomery in Dominant Road Victory
Blue Bell, Pa. – The Bergen Community College women's volleyball team continued its strong start to the 2025 season with a commanding straight-set sweep over Montgomery County Community College (25–8, 25–3, 25–6) on Saturday, September 20. The win improves the Bulldogs' record to 3–0 on the season.
The Bulldogs delivered an all-around performance, outpacing the Mustangs in every statistical category. Bergen hit an efficient .356 as a team, while holding Montgomery to a negative hitting percentage (-1.000).
Leading the way was Brianna Bermeo, who tallied a match-high 11 kills on a .421 hitting percentage along with five service aces, finishing with 16 points. Daniela Cardona added six service aces and eight digs, while Samantha Liew chipped in four aces and five total points. Setter Angela Korca directed the offense with 13 assists and added a service ace of her own.
