WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TAKES FIRST PLACE IN THE 2016 REGION XIX TOURNAMENT
Bergen's Women's Cross Country team wins the 2016 Region XIX Tournament Meet on Sunday. The team wins it's first region title since 1989.
Paramus, NJ - Women's Cross Country wins Region XIX Championship on Sunday for the first time since 1989 (25 years). The team advances to the 2016 NJCAA WXC National Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 12 hosted by Finger Lakes CC in Canandaigua, NY.
Freshmen, Justine Conca (Nutley), finished in first place. Sophomore, Amanda Duran (Hackensack), finished in 7th place and also earn All-region. Head Coach, Deana Dedovitch, earns 2016 Region XIX Women's Cross Country "Coach of the Year".
Women's Cross Country also wins the 2016 Garden State Athletic Conference Championship (GSAC) Trophy. Freshmen, Justine Conca (Nutley), bring home individual first place GSAC trophy and also earns first team All-GSAC.
