Strong First Half Not Enough For Men's Basketball Against Bronx CC

PARAMUS, NJ- Bergen once again held a lead at halftime but could not hold in the second half as they fell 96-69 to Bronx Community College.  Bronx improved to 1-7 on the year, while Bergen dropped to 1-6.

IMPACT PLAYERS

• Michael Byfield connected on 14-of-30 shots overall and went 5-of-14 from downtown.  He led all scorers with 33 points.    
• Ladorien Ladson once again recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and pulling down 18 rebounds.
• Jaheim Bunting added 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
• Amire Walker chipped in 13 points.

GAME NOTES

• This is the fourth straight game Michael Byfield has scored in double digits.
• Ladorien Ladson has recorded double-digit rebounds in three of the last four games.
• Passaic shot 53.9% from the field compared to Bergen's 35.8%
• The Bulldogs connected on 8-of-21 (38.1%) three-pointers and made 23-of-36 (63.9%) from the charity stripe.
• The Bulldogs held the rebounding advantage 52-46
